Tiny Needles, Powerful Results
Collagen Induction Therapy, also known as microneedling, uses fine and short needles to create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the body’s natural healing process, triggering the production of collagen and elastin. This is a minimally invasive procedure with minimal downtime.
Most clients experience minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to ensure comfort. You may feel a slight prickling sensation, but it is generally well-tolerated.
Microneedling delivers long-lasting results, as the production of collagen and elastin continues to enhance skin texture and firmness overtime. However, regular maintenance sessions may be suggested to preserve the effects and address any future skin concerns.
The number of microneedling sessions needed depends on each individual’s skin concerns and goals. In most cases, a series of 3 to 6 treatments, scheduled a few weeks apart, is recommended for the best results.
Microneedling is safe for most skin types and tones. However, it may not be recommended for those with active acne, certain skin conditions, or infections. A consultation is recommended to determine if it’s right for you. You can leave your information at the bottom if you are unsure.
Its best to wait at least 48 hours before applying makeup to allow skin to heal and avoid irritation. It does depend on how well your skin heals as well.
